Join the Greater Albuquerque Medical Association for the GAMA Media & Public Engagement Training, an in-person, half-day intensive designed to equip physicians with the skills and confidence to lead public conversations about medicine, health, and care in New Mexico. 

Whether you're new to public communication or looking to elevate your message, this workshop will help you engage effectively with the media, policymakers, and community audiences. You’ll learn to speak clearly, persuasively, and strategically in high-stakes settings, from news interviews and town halls to legislative hearings and public debates. The training is built around five physician-centered pillars: audience awareness, message crafting, delivery, handling challenging situations, and testimony readiness. 

Through guided exercises, on-your-feet practice, and real-time coaching, you’ll move from informed expert to strategic communicator. This exclusive training is open to GAMA and NMMS members only, and registration is complimentary.
