Join the Greater Albuquerque Medical Association for the GAMA Advocacy Academy, a fast-paced, skills-based training designed to empower physicians to become effective advocates for healthcare policy in New Mexico.

Whether you are stepping into advocacy for the first time or looking to sharpen your strategy, this half-day program will give you a clear understanding of how the legislative process works and how to make it work for you. You will gain insights into the structure and flow of the New Mexico Legislature, learn how to read and track legislation, and discover what it takes to engage policymakers with confidence and clarity.

Throughout the morning, you will participate in guided exercises, including message development and elevator pitch practice, with real-time coaching and peer feedback. The Academy is designed to leave you with practical skills, renewed confidence, and new connections with fellow physician leaders.
